Hilarious: this is a spoof that appears to have started on BannedInHollywood.com.
Co-Ed Magazine, however, didn’t catch on. They must not have noticed that the CDC spokesman they quoted, “Cole Desorio,” has a name that sounds suspiciously like “Cold Sore.” Know another great way to get herpes? Not noticing the tongue-in-cheek.
Then Co-Ed got more diggs than BannedInHollywood (633 to 184 at present), and we have ourselves a case of collateral misinformation.
